LEVEL ONE

Title: Nightmare Attacks

This one has the most interesting concept and was rendered quite well for a level one entry.

LEVEL TWO

Title: Apocalypse
The use of blood can be tricky and overdone but this piece has the right amount to get the point across. Everything was well blended, giving it a great cohesive appearance.

Title: Death's Bride Beckons
A good grouping of several nightmarish elements that draw in the viewer with the beckoning bride.

LEVEL THREE

From
Title: Nightmare.
I love the tones and the flow of this. There is action and suspense in this piece. Its a great interpretation of the contest and except for the skill level everything is perfect. Anne I moved you up a level because this piece really shows your skills. Love it.

Everyone did a fantastic job and we had many entries. The group is growing and you all kick ass.

Greetings Dark Angels. This month we will be working with portraits. The idea is to change or add to the selected subject and create a dark or horror face. working with portraits can be a challenge, you are not creating a scene, just manipulating the features you have to make a masterpiece of the macabre. Digital me darkly...

This should be loads of fun for those wanting to try this round.

YOUR JUDGES

Challenge Stock

PLEASE UNDERSTAND THE RULES and ask if you don't.

Your entry must be submitted after the 16th of the month.

You many enter twice, but you can only win once.

Remember our rules on painting. No more than 30%

NO PREMADES... make sure the provider credited the other artists.

We only accept stock from DeviantART, no outside resources. Direct links are always nice.

Please allow full view for judging and no intrusive watermark. Artwork no smaller than
900x900 please.

Include our icon and the name of the challenge in your entry.

Put the level you are competing in on your artists comments.

All STANDARD group rules apply.

You are required to use only one piece of the stock we have given you.

Submit your entries to the contest folder and we will move it to the right place...

There are only 2 folders that are open to members. One is for the contests and the other is for winners to submit a piece from there gallery.

The contest is over in a few days.

We check for credits and so do the judges.
No premades can be used and all PNGs MUST contain credits.
We follow the rules of the community.

We leave your skill level to you. SOMETIMES we might suggest another level but the decision is yours. Just know that you can set your self up for failure by placing your art in a level that you are not quite ready for.

We hold darker contests than most groups if you find blood and nudity offensive this is not the group for you. We are dark artist mostly and this is a place to share our twisted art with each other. We do expect participants to enjoy their time here... it shows in your art.

Most of our contests are different and so are the rules the judges go by. A great suggestion is to read the rules of each contest and play by the rules. Many people get disqualified for simply not following the rules.

We are no longer accepting of site resources. SXC and other will get you disqualified. You must stick to da resources and credit everything you use. The judges will check every link.

Thats right the nightmare contest has one week to go. Im sure some that like waiting till the last minute like this last reminder.

Normal Why be normal when we can create our own Dark Portraits.

We will be giving you * model faces to distort and contort to your hearts content.

This challenge will start in one week on June 16th...

Have your filters and tricks on stand by.
